Archétypes Art International was born on March 21 st 2003 as result of passion of his creators Françoise and Christian Peltre for Art and the city of Hyères , cradle of the French Riviera. After a thirty year’s stay in The Netherlands, an unexpected quite early retirement which just arrived at the right moment, made the new “young owner's’ dreams come true.

Thus, Archetype’s gallery had the privilege to present on 21 st, of March 2003, within the framework of its official opening, the works of 9 internationally famous artists yet still unknown from the French public. Among them, the very famous Dutch Master of Absurd Art:
Jean Thomassen called the “Dutch Dali”.

Located in the very centre of this wonderful old city, in front of the City Hall, the gallery is an invitation to make a discovery (the artists belong to several schools like: Symbolism, Realism, Surrealism, Absurd Realism, Expressionism, Post-Impressionism etc.). Almost every exhibition is a first showing in France of international level, worthy of biggest capital cities.

The concept is original: we get into the gallery crossing the terrace garden of the tearoom “Art &Tea” which is an air-conditioned exhibition second place of Archétypes Art International. Comfortably seated under centenarian cedars, the visitor will be pleased to take a very nice tasty cup of exotic tea, served with refined delicious pastries.

Passion, Emotion and beauty are waiting here for you. The visit is a must, the trip is guaranteed, and you will be unforgettably delighted .

Open every day from 14h30 to 19h except on Sunday and Monday.
In the summer, open on Friday and Saturday evenings.
